Valentine Maher (17 May 1780 – January 1844)[1] was an Irish Whig politician.[2] [3] [4] [5] [6]

Maher was first elected Whig MP for at the 1841 general election and held the seat until his death in 1844, when his cousin Nicholas Maher took over the seat.[2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7]

He was a member of Arthur's and a magistrate for County Tipperary.[2] [3]
