Vairichettipalayam is a Town, Reserved forest, Revenue block and Tourist place in Tiruchirappalli district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is Tiruchirappalli located 70 km South of Musiri 42 km north of Namakkal, 55 km Senthamangalam 55 km west of Kollimalai, and 5 km away from the state capital, Chennai.[1]
Thuraiyur (state assembly constituency) is a separate assembly constituency falling under Perambalur (Lok Sabha constituency).
Thuraiyur is well connected by road to cities like: Trichy, Namakkal, Musiri, Thuraiyur, Kollimalai, kulithalai, Thammampatti and Thathaiyangarpet.
