Vaazhthu Kaatuvom (transl. Let's live and show) is a 2024 Indian Tamil-language reality arbitration-based reality court show adjudicating real-life family disputes. It is adapted from the Zee Tamil's show Solvathellam Unmai.[1] This program has been developed in a brand new format with the advice of experts and specialists in a new arena where people's grievances and problems are spoken boldly.[2]
Actress Kuyili hosts the show.[3] It aired on Kalaignar TV from 26 February 2024 to 21 June 2024 on Monday to Friday from 21:00[4] and is also presented on Kalaignar TV's YouTube channel.[5]
The shows format is largely identical to that of Lakshmy Ramakrishnan's former shows Solvathellam Unmai and Vidhubala's Kadhayallithu Jeevitham. The show revolves around Kuyili and his team invites aggrieved families to put forth their disputes and concerns and helps settle the matters to the satisfaction of both the parties.[6]
It doesn't end with discussing the problems in front of a moderator, rather it takes a giant step to bring solutions to the issues after considering it from multiple perspectives.[7]
This marks the veteran actress Kuyili's full-fledged return to television silverscreen after an eight-year hiatus.[8]
