The station consists of two ground-level side platforms connected by a level crossing. The station has a Midori no Madoguchi staffed ticket office.[1]

History

Usuda Station opened on 28 December 1915 as the . It was renamed Santanda Station on 1 September 1934, and renamed to its present name on 1 October 1963.[1] With the dissolution and privatization of JNR on April 1, 1987, the station came under the control of the East Japan Railway Company (JR East).
