Usolsky District (ru|Усо́льский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion) of Perm Krai, Russia; one of the thirty-three in the krai.[1] As a municipal division, it is incorporated as Usolsky Municipal District.[2] It is located in the center of the krai. The area of the district is 4666km2.[3] Its administrative center is the town of Usolye. Population: The population of Usolye accounts for 40.0% of the district's total population.
About 70% of the district's territory is covered by forests, mostly coniferous.
The district was established in August 1940 as Voroshilovsky District. Present name was given to it in 1957.
