Uropeltis ruhunae explained

Uropeltis ruhunae is a species of snake in the family Uropeltidae. The species is endemic to Sri Lanka.[1]

Etymology

The specific name, ruhunae, refers to the ancient Sri Lankan Principality of Ruhuna.[2]
