The University of Ghana School of Law (UGSoL) is the law school of the University of Ghana.[1] UGSoL offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs. University of Ghana School of Law is divided into three departments namely, Department of Public Law, Department of Private Law and Department of International Legal Studies.

History

The University of Ghana School of Law was first established as a department of the Faculty of Social Studies in the 1958/59 Academic Year. In the 2014/15 academic year, it was formally constituted as a school. UGSoL offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Programs

University of Ghana School of Law offers two Bachelor of Laws (LLB) programmes; the regualar that takes WASSCE applicants and the Post-First Degree which is applied using an existing bachelors degree. University of Ghana School of Law also offers post-graduate (M.A., LLM and PhD) programmes.
