Ponometia Explained

Ponometia is a genus of moths of the family Noctuidae. The genus was erected by Gottlieb August Wilhelm Herrich-Schäffer in 1868.[1] [2]

The Global Lepidoptera Names Index gives this name as a synonym of Acontia.
