Ulyanovsky District (Russian: Улья́новский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[2] district (raion), one of the twenty-one in Ulyanovsk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the north of the oblast. The area of the district is 1273km2.[3] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Isheyevka. Population: 36,669 (2010 Census); The population of Isheyevka accounts for 28.3% of the district's total population.
