Tyumentsevsky District (Russian: Тюме́нцевский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[2] district (raion), one of the fifty-nine in Altai Krai, Russia. The area of the district is 2273km2. Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Tyumentsevo. Population: The population of Tyumentsevo accounts for 35.5% of the district's total population.

Geography

The district is located in the north of the krai, in the area of the Ob Plateau. Lake Gorkoye is located in the district and the Kulunda Main Canal runs along its eastern side.[3] [4]
