Tympy (Russian: Тымпы; Yakut: Тыымпы, Tıımpı) is a rural locality (a selo), the only inhabited locality, and the administrative center of Pervyy Togussky Rural Okrug of Vilyuysky District in the Sakha Republic, Russia, located 104km (65miles) from Vilyuysk, the administrative center of the district. Its population as of the 2010 Census was 534[2] of whom 268 were male and 266 female, down from 562 as recorded during the 2002 Census.[3]
