Tuobuya (Russian: Туобуя; Yakut: Туобуйа, Tuobuya) is a rural locality (a selo), the only inhabited locality, and the administrative center of Tuobuyinsky Rural Okrug of Verkhnevilyuysky District in the Sakha Republic, Russia, located 250km (160miles) from Verkhnevilyuysk, the administrative center of the district. Its population as of the 2017 Census was 332,[2] of whom 175 were male and 163 female, down from 354 as recorded during the 2002 Census.[3]
