Tselinny District (ru|Цели́нный райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[2] district (raion), one of the twenty-four in Kurgan Oblast, Russia. It is located in the south of the oblast. The area of the district is 3460km2. Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Tselinnoye. Population: 23,058 (2002 Census); The population of Tselinnoye accounts for 29.5% of the district's total population.
