Trittame gracilis explained

Trittame gracilis is a species of mygalomorph spider in the Barychelidae family. It is endemic to Australia. It was described in 1874 by German arachnologist Ludwig Carl Christian Koch.[1]

Distribution and habitat

The species occurs in the Whitsunday Region of North Queensland. Habitats include vine thickets, grassland and remnant bottle-tree scrub. The type locality is Bowen.[1] [2]

Behaviour

The spiders are fossorial, terrestrial predators.[1] [2]
