The Tripura State Excise[1] is the law enforcement agency for excise in the Indian state of Tripura. It is headed by the Excise Commissioner. The Tripura Excise Department was formed to manage and regulate the production, distribution, and sale of alcoholic beverages and other excisable goods within the state of Tripura.[2]

Revenue

The Excise Department has recorded a total excise duty collection of ₹979.50 crores over the past three fiscal years. This results in an average annual collection of ₹326.50 crores.[3]
