Trigonopterus payungensis is a species of flightless weevil in the genus Trigonopterus from Indonesia.[1]
The specific name is derived from that of the type locality.
Individuals measure 2.4mm2.58mm in length. Body is slightly hexagonal in shape. General coloration is black, with rust-colored tibiae, tarsi, and antennae.
The species is found around elevations of NaNm (-2,147,483,648feet) on Mount Payung in the Indonesian province of West Java.
T. payungensis is part of the T. dimorphus species group.
