Trident Basin Seaplane Base is a city-owned, public-use seaplane base located in the City of Kodiak, in the Kodiak Island Borough of the U.S. state of United States. This seaplane base is located 40NaN0 northeast of the Kodiak Airport.[1]
As per Federal Aviation Administration records, Trident Basin SPB had 11,218 passenger boardings (enplanements) in calendar year 2008, an increase of 338% from the 2,561 enplanements in 2007. Trident Basin SPB is included in the FAA's National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems (2009–2013), which categorizes it as a general aviation facility.[2]
