Tortulosa Explained

Tortulosa is a genus of air-breathing land snails, terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusks in the family Pupinidae.[1] [2]

These snails are restricted to Western Ghats of India and Sri Lanka.[3]

34 species are recognized.[4] [5] [6]
