Tony Nikolakopoulos is a Greek Australian film, theatre[1] and television actor.[2]
Nikolakopoulos has appeared in many tv series, feature films and short films. He is best known for his work in the films of Nick Giannopoulos – The Wog Boy series (in which he starred aa the neck-brace wearing Theo)[3] and The Wannabes, and for his role as Attilio in the television series . He appeared in feature films Head On (as Dimitri) and Alex & Eve (as George) and played the lead role of Alan in The Legend Maker.
He has performed in numerous stage plays, including Cafe Rebetika in 2009.[4]
Nikolakopoulos has directed over one hundred stage productions for Stage School Australia, Victorian Youth Theatre and his own production company KT Productions. In 2023 he wrote and directed the play Life of Byron.[5]
He has also worked as an acting and drama lecturer/teacher at Deakin University and University of Melbourne's Victorian College of the Arts.[6]
Nikolakopoulos is married to clinical psychologist Julia Hosie.[7]
