Tom Hounsell Explained

Tom Hounsell (born 21 October 1995)[1] is an English football manager. He is the interim manager of Burton Albion in EFL League One.

Career

Formerly director of football programmes at St Mary's University, Twickenham, Hounsell worked at Fulham's academy being appointed assistant manager of Burton Albion in EFL League One. The new manager was Mark Robinson, who moved from Chelsea's development squad.[2] The pair were installed after the club was taken over by Nordic Football Group.[3] Robinson was sacked on 23 October with the club bottom, with four points from 11 games and no wins; Hounsell was named interim manager.[4] On 9 November, his team won 2–0 at home to Shrewsbury Town to get their first win of the season at the fourteenth attempt.[5]
