Tobias Cremer (born 30 June 1992) is a German politician from the SPD. In the 2024 European Parliament election he was elected a Member of the European Parliament (MEP).
Cremer graduated from the Neues Gymnasium Bochum and then completed a bachelor's degree in economics and philosophy at Sciences Po and a master's degree in public administration at Harvard University. He received his doctorate in political science and international relations from the University of Cambridge and then lectured as a Junior Research Fellow in Religion (Pembroke College) at the University of Oxford.[1] He later worked as a diplomat in the European department of the Federal Foreign Office.[2]
In the 2024 European elections, Cremer was elected to the European Parliament as 14th place on the SPD list.[3]
Cremer is a member of the Bochum, VfL Bochum and the Altenbochum/Laer parish.[4]
