Tipu Sultan Masjid also called Shaheed Tipu Sultan Masjid is a mosque located on the Prince Anwar Shah Road in Tollygunge, Kolkata, in the Indian state of West Bengal.[1] [2] [3] It was built in 1860 by Ghulam Muhammad Sultan Sahib, the youngest son of Tipu Sultan after the Tipu Sultan Masjid was built with the same design and look.[4] [5] It was named after the ruler of Mysore also known as King of Mysore Tipu Sultan.[6] [7] Abdus Sukur is the Imam of this Mosque.[8]
