Thomas de Burgh (; ; in French pronounced as /d.buʁ/; 1170) became the Castellan of Norwich in 1215.[1]
He was likely born in Burgh next Aylsham, Norfolk to Walter/William de Burgh and his wife Alice, and was the younger brother of William de Burgh, Lord of Connacht and Hubert de Burgh, Earl of Kent, and older brother of Geoffrey de Burgh, Bishop of Ely.
