Narendra Modi was inaugurated for the third term as Prime Minister of India on 9 June 2024.[1] The ceremony was held in the forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhavan.Along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, 71 other members of the Third Modi ministry took the oath of office.[2]

After being elected as the Leader of the House in Lok Sabha and prime minister candidate by the NDA parliamentary board on 7 June, Narendra Modi was invited by the President of India Droupadi Murmu to form the government along with his council of ministers.
