The Piper is a 1945 Australian radio play by Edmund Barclay.

The play was repeated later in the year and in 1947.[1]

According to one account it was "combining fresh simplicity and sentiment with mysticism."

The play was positively received.

Premise

"Life on Nether Dene Farm was uninteresting until the arrival of a mysterious stranger who played the flute."
