The twelfth season of The Farmer Wants a Wife premiered on 4 September 2022.[1]

Natalie Gruzlewski returned as host, guiding five farmers on their journey to find love with eight contestants.[2] Sam Armytage joined Gruzlewski as a special guest throughout the season.[3] Halfway through the season, Armytage introduced two new contestants to each of the farmers.[4]

Farmer Benjamin temporarily left the show after the death of his grandmother. While away, he was diagnosed with an undisclosed illness that forced him to exit the show for good.[5]
