Thaumacus (mythology) explained

In Greek mythology, Thaumacus (Ancient Greek: Θαυμάκου) was the founder of Thaumacia in Magnesia, Thessaly.^[1] He was the father of King Poeas^[2] of Meliboea (or Malis), the father of Philoctetes.
