Tailspot lanternshark explained

The tailspot lanternshark (Etmopterus caudistigmus) is a shark of the family Etmopteridae found around New Caledonia, at depths of between 640 and 800 m. Its length is up to 31 cm.

Reproduction is ovoviviparous.
