This station consists of a single island platform serving two tracks, connected to the station building by a footbridge.
Tōbu-kanasaki Station opened on 1 April 1929.[1] It became unstaffed from 8 March 1972.[1] The platform was lengthened in 2006.
From 17 March 2012, station numbering was introduced on all Tobu lines, with Tōbu-kanasaki Station becoming "TN-15".[2]
In fiscal 2019, the station was used by an average of 545 passengers daily (boarding passengers only).[3]
