Szkocja is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Raczki, within Suwałki County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 2km (01miles) south-east of Raczki, 160NaN0 south-west of Suwałki, and 980NaN0 north of the regional capital Białystok.
The village was founded in 1823 by Count Ludwik Michał Pac,[2] and named after its Scottish settlers, as the name means "Scotland" in Polish.[3]
In the 1921 Polish census, the entire population declared Polish nationality.[4]
