Szarajówka is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Łukowa, within Biłgoraj County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 5km (03miles) west of Łukowa, 220NaN0 south-east of Biłgoraj, and 1000NaN0 south of the regional capital Lublin.
See main article: Szarajówka massacre. During the Nazi occupation of Poland, on May 18, 1943, from 58 to 67 inhabitants of Szarajówka, including numerous women and children, were massacred by the German punitive expedition.[2]
