The women's 200 metre freestyle competition of the swimming events at the 1959 Pan American Games took place on 31 August (preliminaires)[1] [2] and 3 September (finals).[3] The last Pan American Games champion was Wanda Werner of US.[4] [5] [6] [7] [8]
This race consisted of four lengths of the pool, all in freestyle.[9]
