Suzdalsky District (Russian: Су́здальский райо́н) is an administrative[3] and municipal[4] district (raion), one of the sixteen in Vladimir Oblast, Russia. It is located in the north of the oblast. The area of the district is 1479km2.[2] Its administrative center is the town of Suzdal. Population: 39,736 (2002 Census); The population of Suzdal accounts for 20.2% of the district's total population.
