Sunsky District (Russian: Су́нский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[2] district (raion), one of the thirty-nine in Kirov Oblast, Russia. It is located in the center of the oblast. The area of the district is 1260km2. Its administrative center is the urban locality (an urban-type settlement) of Suna. Population: 8,636 (2002 Census); The population of Suna accounts for 32.4% of the district's total population.
