Summerlight… and Then Comes the Night explained

Summerlight… and Then Comes the Night (Icelandic: Sumarljós og svo kemur nóttin) is a tragicomedy directed by Elfar Adalstein. The film, set in a tiny Icelandic village, is based on the novel Summerlight, and Then Comes the Night by Jón Kalman Stefánsson.[1]

The film was shown at the Reykjavik International Film Festival in October 2022.[2]
