Stoney Branch rises on the Sheep Pen Ditch divide about 1 mile southeast of Whaleys Crossroads in Sussex County, Delaware. Stoney Branch then flows southwest to meet Tyndall Branch about 0.5 miles north of Hardscrabble.[4]
