Steve Taylor (born 11 July 1965) is an American long-distance runner. He won the 10,000 metres at the 1988 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships and represented the United States at the 1991 World Marathon Championships.

Career

Taylor was a top prospect coming out of high school before enrolling at West Virginia University for one year, and then transferring to the Virginia Tech Hokies track and field and cross country programs.[1] He finished 26th at the 1991 World Championships men's marathon in Tokyo.

Personal life

Taylor graduated from the West Virginia St. Marys High School in 1983. He is now a cross country and track and field coach for the Richmond Spiders track and field and cross country teams.[2]
