Stephen Eaton (priest) explained
Stephen Eaton (1737–1806),[1] FRS[2] was Archdeacon of Middlesex[3] from 1781[4] until his death.[5]
Eaton was born in Deene;[6] educated at Eton[7] and Merton College, Oxford; and ordained deacon in 1761, and priest in 1763.[8] After a curacy in Holborn[9] he served incumbencies in Thorley,[10] Northolt[11] and Soho.[12]
He died on 14 February 1806.[13]
