Stephen Crowe (composer) explained
Stephen Crowe is an English composer of chamber operas and experimental music. His work has been performed internationally.[1] After performances in London,[2] Edinburgh,[3] Dublin,[4] Cambridge[5] and Berlin[6] his The Francis Bacon Opera was described as both "pretentious nonsense"[7] and "avoiding the pitfalls of pretentiousness".[8]
