Stenotaphrum Explained

Stenotaphrum is a widespread genus of plants in the grass family.

The name is derived from the Greek words στενός (stenos), meaning "narrow", and τάϕρος (taphros), meaning "trench." It refers to cavities in the raceme axis.^{[1] [2]}
