The tourist resort towns of Turgutreis and Bodrum are linked to Milas–Bodrum Airport via the D.330.

The route passes near Lake Salda, Lake Burdur, and Lake Eğirdir, and crosses several mountain passes such as Tokuş (1,010 m) and Boynızcuk (1,060 m).

Around 749km of the road is a dual carriageway. And 180km of the road between Konya and Ulukışla forms part of an international route. The route then becomes theO.21A before joining the O.21 motorway.
