St. Charles or Saint Charles is a census-designated place (CDP) in Gregory County, South Dakota, United States. The population was 15 at the 2020 census.[4]
St. Charles was laid out in 1906, and most likely was named in honor of Charlie Johnson, a first settler.[5]
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 0.2sqmi, all land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 19 people, 8 households, and 5 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 97.8sp=usNaNsp=us. There were 12 housing units at an average density of 61.8sp=usNaNsp=us. The racial makeup of the CDP was 68.42% White, 5.26% Asian, and 26.32% from two or more races.
