South Kintyre is one of the eleven wards used to elect members of the Argyll and Bute Council. It elects three Councillors.

Election Results

2023 By-election

Donald Kelly resigned his seat in August 2023 in protest at how the council operated.[1] A by-election took place on 2 November 2023 and was won by his daughter, Jennifer Kelly, who also stood as an independent.[2]
