South Dakota's 3rd legislative district is one of 35 districts in the South Dakota Legislature. Each district is represented by 1 senator and 2 representatives. In the Senate, it has been represented by Republican Al Novstrup since 2017. In the House, it has been represented by Brandei Schaefbauer since 2023 and Carl E. Perry since 2019.[1]

Geography

The district is located in northeastern South Dakota, in Brown County. The district is based in Aberdeen.[2]
