Soul Burger is the sixth studio album by American rapper Ab-Soul. It was released on November 8, 2024, by Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE). It features guest appearances by Blxst, Doechii, JasonMartin, JID, Lupe Fiasco, Punch, Ty Dolla Sign, Vince Staples, Asia Holiday, Fresh, Kamm Carson, Notorious N.I.Q. and Thirsty P. Production was handled by various record producers, including 9th Wonder, Beat Butcha, Sounwave, and TDE labelmate Schoolboy Q on his debut as a record producer, among others. The album title pays homage to Ab-Soul's best friend Doeburger, who passed away in December 2021; he posthumously appears on the track "Peace".[1]
Singles
On October 11, 2024, the lead single "Squeeze 1st 2" was released; its title and chorus are a reference to the Jay-Z track "Squeeze 1st". The album's title was later revealed through the song's producer, Crooklin, on Instagram.[2] [3] "All That" was released on October 18 as the second single.[4] "Crazier" featuring JID was released on October 29 as the final single, along with the album's official announcement and release date reveal.[5]
