Styles was rated a five star recruit coming out of high school.[3] Styles would decide to commit to play college football at The Ohio State University over other schools such as Clemson, Florida, Notre Dame, and Ole Miss.[4] [5]
In Styles first season he notched nine tackles with one going for a loss.[6] Styles was named a starting safety for the Buckeyes going into their week one matchup in 2023.[7] In his first start he played 49 snaps where he had four tackles with 1.5 being for a loss, as he helped Ohio State beat Indiana.[8] Styles will be playing linebacker in 2024 and beyond.
