Sol Synergy Explained

The Sol Synergy is a Brazilian single-place paraglider that was designed and produced by Sol Paragliders of Jaraguá do Sul in the mid-2000s. It is now out of production.[1]

Design and development

The Synergy was designed as an intermediate glider. The models are each named for their relative size.[1]

Variants

Synergy S
  • Small-sized model for lighter pilots. Its 11.841NaN1 span wing has a wing area of 25m2, 80 cells and the aspect ratio is 5.43:1. The pilot weight range is 52to. The glider model is AFNOR Standard certified.[1]
    Synergy M
  • Mid-sized model for medium-weight pilots. Its 12.341NaN1 span wing has a wing area of 28.01m2, 95 cells and the aspect ratio is 5.43:1. The pilot weight range is 52to. The glider model is AFNOR Standard certified.[1]
    Synergy L
  • Large-sized model for heavier pilots. Its 12.171NaN1 span wing has a wing area of 29.7m2, 110 cells and the aspect ratio is 5.43:1. The pilot weight range is 52to. The glider model is AFNOR Standard certified.[1]
    Synergy XL
  • Extra large-sized model for much heavier pilots. Its 13.141NaN1 span wing has a wing area of 31.8m2, 52 cells and the aspect ratio is 5.43:1. The pilot weight range is 105to. The glider model is AFNOR Standard certified.[1]
