Smerek is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Cisna, within Lesko County, Subcarpathian Voivodeship, in south-eastern Poland, close to the border with Slovakia. It lies approximately 9km (06miles) south-east of Cisna, 340NaN0 south of Lesko, and 1000NaN0 south of the regional capital Rzeszów.[1]

Smerek station is a terminus of the Bieszczadzka Forest Railway.
