Slavic Soul Party (often stylized Slavic Soul Party!) is an American Balkan brass/jazz band.[1] The band borrows from Balkan brass, dixieland, New Orleans Second Line, funk, klezmer, and Roma music.[2] [3]
The band has performed on stages usually known for rock bands, opening for such acts as Arcade Fire and Dresden Dolls. They have also performed at music festivals which highlight their international flavors, such as Chicago's 14th annual World Music Festival in 2012.[4]
