Skorno pri Šoštanju (in Slovenian pronounced as /ˈskoːɾnɔ pɾi ˈʃoːʃtanju/) is a settlement in the Municipality of Šoštanj in northern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria. The municipality is now included in the Savinja Statistical Region.[2]

Name

The name of the settlement was changed from Skorno to Skorno pri Šoštanju in 1952.[3]

Church

The local church is dedicated to Saint Anthony the Hermit and belongs to the Parish of Šoštanj. It dates to the 16th century.[4]
